We'll start with the biggest news that developers Ubisoft have shelved Assassin's Creed and will not be releasing a new major AC game in 2016.
This would herald the first time in seven years that a major Assassin's Creed game hasn't been released, the last entry being the London based Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
The news was delivered last week following the release of Ubisoft's quarterly financial report, which remarked that Assassin's Creed Syndicate experienced "A slower launch than expected."
Within the same report, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said: "We are now in a position to take the decision not to release a new Assassin's Creed game in 2016-17, in order to give the brand a new dimension, while still presenting very solid targets for the fiscal year."

WATCH DOGS: Ubisoft have finally announced a sequal to hacking hit from 2014
The canning of Assassin's Creed wasn't all Ubisoft had to announce, they also set our their stall for a sequel to Watch Dogs.
So far bosses have only gone as far to say that the follow up to the popular third-person hacking game will arrive in shops no later than March 31 2017.
But many expect we'll see the game before Christmas.
In its latest financial report, Ubisoft listed its fiscal 2017 (April 2016-March 2017) line-up as including: "For Honor, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: WildLands, the next instalment of Watch Dogs, and a new high-potential AAA brand with strong digital live services."
ACTIVISION
DESTINY 2: Activision have announced that a sequel to Destiny will arrive in 2017
Meanwhile developers Bungie announced that their popular shooter Destiny will receive a full sequel at some stage in 2017.
Plus the team also promised that there are currently plans for a "large expansion" for the original game, which will be released at some point later this year.
Like Ubisoft, the news was revealed following the release of Activision Blizzard's financial results for the fourth quarter of the 2015 calendar year.
Publisher Activision also noted in the report that as of 31st December 2015 Destiny had 25 million registered users, clocking up [roughly] 3 billion hours into the game.
BETHESDA
FALLOUT 4: Bethesda has promised fans that DLC for the game is "not far off"
Not to be overshadowed by a recent glut of news from the likes of Ubisoft, Activision and Microsoft, Bethesda have come out and confirmed on Twitter the one piece of news that will make all Fallout 4 fans squeal with delight.
The first piece of DLC for the game is on it's way.
In a tweet from @BethesdaGameStudios it was confirmed that the developers are "not far off" when it comes to Fallout 4's much sought-after DLC.
In addition, the Bethesda boys also outlined plans to change the mechanics of the games Survival Mode, to bring it in line more with Fallout: New Vegas
